If Laoag brought out the adventure junkies in us and Vigan was the tour we were most excited about, Pagudpud-Burgos-Bangui trip was the most unexpected and definitely was the highlight of our Ilocandia trip. It's understandable that Pagudpud is called as the Boracay of the North, but that title couldn't suffice to the beauties unfolded to us. What we saw gave a realization of how lucky we were to witness really beautiful natural landscapes and views, something not everyone's privileged to experience. I'm quite sure that after you read this 3rd and final installment of the 3-part blog about Ilocos, you'll be amazed and be inspired to take a trip up north in the near future.
Getting to Pagudpod from Laoag would only require a less than 2-hour bus ride which didn't cost more than 100php. There are air-conditioned buses going to provinces beyond Ilocos Norte but why not try riding the regular buses and feel the wind in your face as you savor the views you pass by as we did?
